Built for remote, sensitive, public places
We perform land-based infrastructure work including earthwork and surface restoration, potable water, wastewater and stormwater systems, trailheads and campground facilities, vault toilets and sanitation systems, and site power. Our projects run in remote, logistically constrained, environmentally and culturally sensitive environments that demand disciplined planning, coordination with agency resource specialists, and strict adherence to protection, permitting and compliance requirements.
Bad Quail Prime is structured for the operational and administrative demands of DOI and USDA land-based infrastructure programs. Estimating, procurement, permitting, subcontractor management, on-site supervision, safety and quality control sit in a single accountable structure, which means predictable schedules, disciplined risk management and clear coordination with Contracting Officers, CORs and technical stakeholders.
Core competencies

- Public-use site infrastructure construction and rehabilitation

Past performance
Inyo National Forest: Vault Toilet Surface Restoration
Site preparation, excavation, pavement grinding, water lines, compaction and grading, concrete flatwork, bollards, trench drains, landscape boulders, yard hydrants, parking blocks, crosswalks and striping across ten vault toilet sites.
Remote, heavily visited recreation sites; rocky soils; environmental constraints.
Pinnacles National Park: RV Dump Station Reconstruction
Demolition of the existing septic system and drain field; a new 15,000-gallon underground storage tank with alarm system; electrical service; coordination of earthwork, masonry and HDD subcontractors.
Resource-sensitive area; active campground.
Yosemite National Park: Mono Pass Trailhead Vault Toilet Replacement
Pumping and lockout of the existing vault; demolition and off-site disposal; excavation; a new CXT precast vault toilet; concrete flatwork and site restoration.
High-elevation trailhead; environmentally sensitive; public use.
Mt. Irish Wilderness: Campground and Vault Toilet Installation
Grading, aggregate base, concrete pads, kiosk installation and precast vault toilet installation.
Extremely remote wilderness site.
Pinnacles National Park: Backup Generator and LPG Installation
Four government-furnished 22kW generators with propane systems: potholing, trenching for conduit and LPG lines, concrete pads, 500-gallon tanks, transfer switches and sub-panels, pressure testing, and load-bank commissioning.
Multiple occupied park facilities with constrained access.
Bishop Area Campgrounds: Solar-Powered Water Systems
Rehabilitation of three solar-powered potable water systems: tank inspection, cleaning and polyurea relining; disinfection and commissioning; new solar arrays, foundations and controller tie-ins.
Active public-use campgrounds; limited construction windows.
Devil’s Postpile National Monument: Water Tank and Wellhead Rehabilitation
Project management, on-site safety, equipment operation and contract administration for a 36,000-gallon bolted steel water tank, foundations, pipeline, well refurbishment and potable water testing.
High-altitude monument; volcanic soils; archaeological monitoring.
Spring Mountain Visitor Gateway: Amphitheater Sidewalks
New concrete sidewalks connecting amphitheater entrances to the promenade; site preparation and restoration.
Active public-use facility.
References and contracting officer contacts available on request.
